After completing an internship in internal medicine in New York, and residency in adult psychiatry at Stanford University Medical Center, our expert joined the University of South Florida (USF), Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences in 2008 as an adjunct Associate Professor, educator, and researcher.
Research has focused on the role of estrogen receptor signaling in Alzheimer's Disease and Postpartum Depression. Clinically, the focus has been on Treatment Resistant Depression, Neurocognitive Disorders, and cutting-edge interventional therapies for neuropsychiatric illness.
Our consultant has served as the Medical Director and Chief of Inpatient Psychiatric Services at Tampa General Hospital where the Neurotherapies Service was established in 2010 and in the same roles at HCA Hospital South Tampa/West Tampa.
